Ingredients (for 4 people) :- Besan Gatte Ki Sabzi

To make Gatte :

- 1 cup gram flour  

- 1/4 tsp turmeric  

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder  

- 1/2 teaspoon celery  

- Salt to taste  

- Water (for kneading)  


For the gravy : Besan Gatte Ki Sabzi

- 1/2 cup curd  

- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste  

- 1 tsp turmeric  

- 1 tsp coriander powder  

- 1/2 tsp garam masala  

- 2 tbsp ghee  

- 1 tsp cumin seeds  

- Green coriander (for garnishing)

Making Gatte : Besan Gatte Sabzi

1. Mix turmeric, red chili powder, celery and salt in gram flour.  

2. Add water little by little and knead into a soft dough.  

3. Make long thin rolls from the dough and cook in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.  

4. Once cooked, take out the Gatte, cool them and cut them into pieces.  


Making the Gravy :  Besan Gatte Ki Sabzi

1. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds.  

2. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry, then add turmeric, coriander powder.  

3. Add beaten curd slowly and cook for 2 minutes.  

4. Add Gatta and boil for 5 minutes, sprinkle garam masala and garnish with coriander.
